The Scepter Taken Away

Scripture To Consider:
“Pilate then went out to them and said, ‘What accusation do you bring against this Man?’ They answered and said to him, ‘If He were not an evildoer, we would not have delivered Him to you.’ Then Pilate said to them, ‘You take Him and judge Him according to your law.’ Therefore the Jews said to him, ‘It is not lawful for us to put anyone to death,’ that the saying of Jesus might be fulfilled which He spoke, signifying by what death He would die.”
“Then Pilate entered the Praetorium again, called Jesus, and said to Him, ‘Are You King of the Jews?’ Jesus answered him, ‘Are you speaking for yourself about this, or did others tell you this concerning Me?’ Pilate answered, ‘Am I a Jew? Your own nation and the chief priests have delivered You to me. What have You done?’”
“Jesus answered, ‘My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom was of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My kingdom is not from here.’ Pilate therefore said to Him, ‘Are You a king then?’ Jesus answered, ‘You say rightly that I am a king. For this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice.’”
“Pilate said to Him, ‘What is truth?’ And when he had said this, he went out again to the Jews, and said to them, ‘I find no fault in Him at all.’” John 18.29-38
Something To Consider:
In 30 A.D. the Roman government took away the right and authority to carry out capital punishment from the Jewish people. This single event led the religious leaders to mourn, believing God had abandoned them and had removed His hand and His favor from the Jewish nation. It was a day of lamenting and great national sorrow.
There has already come a day of lamenting and great national sorrow to America. Oh, it was not memorialized, and it is not celebrated even now. But on June 25th, 1962, approx. 61 years ago, a Supreme Court case was decided 6-1, against state sponsored prayer by school children in the New York Public School system.
It was followed by another case decided on June 17th, 1963, brought by Ed Schempp, which reached the U.S. Supreme Court challenging mandatory bible reading in the Pennsylvania Public School system. To true bible endorsing Christians, these are the saddest days in U.S. American history.
Some might claim these two days were the days in which marked the removing of the prayerful and biblical scepter away from America, and the beginning of the Anti-God, Anti-biblical brainwashing of the following generations of American children! And they would be correct.
Something Else To Consider:
In Genesis 49.10, Jacob, the Jewish patriarch, gathered his twelve sons around his bedside to bless them one last time before his death. As Jacob was pronouncing certain blessings, he prophesied over his son Judah, by declaring, “The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh comes; and to Him shall be the obedience of the people.”
The Jewish religious leaders believed Shiloh to be a reference to the Messiah that was to come to the nation of Israel. As true Christians, we believe Jesus of Nazareth to be the Shiloh or Messiah that is to come again in great power and glory immediately after the tribulation of the nearing end times. “Come Lord Jesus. Amen!”
Something More To Consider:
Therefore, when the scepter was removed by the Romans, the right to govern in matters of life and death was also removed. At that point, the Jewish nation was devastated and thought all hope was lost. They believed that God had broken His promise that was made through Jacob to his son Judah.
But the truth is, that by 30 A.D. the Messiah had come in the person of Jesus of Nazareth, and now they were actually plotting His murder by crucifixion. So the truth of the matter was that they in their ignorance of the Scriptures and in their religious rebelliousness, were fulfilling Old Testament prophecy as foretold by God through the prophets.
For Jesus had said, “For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle [small grammatical mark] will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled.” Shiloh, Jesus, has come, and shall come again! Therefore, are we ready for the coming of Jesus? Are we ready on this Father’s Day, June 18, 2023, for the coming of the Antichrist and the great tribulation which will come prior to the second coming of Jesus?
Yes, the scepter of Scripture and prayer has been taken out of America’s public school system by satanic influenced puppets in 1962 and 1963. I was nine and ten years old and remember it well. I suffered by the scepter of Scripture and prayer being removed from the school systems of this country. And it was not until at the age of twenty-five when God graciously arrested my heart and mind! The years between were filled with much turmoil brought about by a godless heart and the godless mandates of a once under God nation.
But, Jesus has been building His silent minority of true enduring to the end army of believers ever since 1962 and 1963. I thank the Lord often that he chose to call me and to allow me to become a part of the few among so many who have answered His call to come to Him. Therefore I am able to gloriously affirm, “Come Lord Jesus!”
A Few Final Words:
Thomas Jefferson, one of the considered fathers of this nation, who lived from 1743-1826, and who was our 3rd U.S. president admonished all with ears to hear, by stating; “I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just; that His justice cannot sleep forever.”
Yes, Jesus is coming again! But this time He will not be coming as a mild-mannered atoning sacrifice or as a Lamb slain before the foundation of the world and silent before His shearers. No, according to the Word of God, Jesus will be coming as a global conquering Lion of the tribe of Judah. And He will wield the prophetic sword of the Spirit or living and sharper than any two-edged sword, known as the Word of God!
God’s prophetic Word is accurate in every detail, whether in scrutinizing the past, or contemplating the future, the written Word of God shall be fulfilled. Yes, the scepter of Scripture and prayer has been taken away from the educational systems of America, but God, our loving heavenly Father, has sent His only Son Jesus to bring peace and the promise of His future coming to establish His kingdom that will never cease to exist. Amen!
Prayer:
Our Father in heaven, open the eyes of all who are walking in darkness and deception, and thank You for sending Shiloh, Jesus, as promised. Awaken us and this back-slidden nation of America from its drunken state of sinfulness. Awaken us all to the glory that will soon be revealed in the coming of Jesus Christ. In Him Always, Amen!
