More Misleading Messages
Scripture To Consider:
“Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There!’ Do not believe it. For false christs and false prophets will arise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible even the elect. See, I have told you beforehand.”
“Therefore, if they say to you, ‘Look, He is in the desert!’ Do not go out; or ‘Look, He is in the inner rooms [secret chambers]!’ Do not believe it. For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For wherever the carcass is, there the eagles will be gathered together.” Matthew 24.23-28
A Few Words Of Warning:
Is There A Coming Future End Time Beastly Deception
Jesus, in our Scripture to consider, announced, “Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There!’ Do not believe it.” It seems as though there is no ceasing the constant wave and infernal infusion of false prophets during the end times. According to Jesus in our text, “For false christs and false prophets will arise and show [display, perform] great signs and wonders.” These end time false christs and false prophets are only the prelude to what John proclaimed in the book of Revelation.
In Revelation chapter 13, beginning with verse 11, we read; “Then I [John] saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb [counterfeit of Jesus Christ] and spoke like a dragon. And he exercises all the authority of the first beast [Revelation 13.1] in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, who’s deadly wound was healed [Revelation 13.3]. He [through the beast, false christs and false prophets] performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men.” These miraculous almost magical demonstrations of power will be believed by those with little to no true biblical training and believed by many who have been deceived by others who wrongly interpret the bible.
John continued his warning by declaring, “And he [Satan’s evil end time representative] deceives [misleads] those who dwell on the earth by those signs [that Jesus spoke of beforehand] which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived.” John also stated, “He was granted power to give breath [life] to the image of the beast that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, that no one may buy or sell except one has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.”
Something To Consider:
Will Christ’s Coming Be A Secret Event
These days will be extremely difficult and troublesome days for the end time faithful attempting to endure to the end believers in Jesus Christ. Therefore, in preparation for these exposed by Jesus end time events, let us think further on these things Jesus has declared. “Therefore, if they [false end time christs and or false prophets] say to you, ‘Look, He [Jesus Christ or more correctly His counterfeit representative] is in the desert!’ Do not go out, or ‘Look, He [Christ’s counterfeit representative] is in the inner rooms [secret chambers of the United Nations or otherwise]!’ Do not believe it.”
Why would end time false prophets, false christs, or Satan’s evil end time representative claim Christ to be in more than one place? Is this something else to be considered? Keep in mind that John in Revelation chapter 13 was speaking in ancient terms what he was being revealed by God of end time future events which now proves to be nearly two millennium since John’s writing. Nonetheless, John spoke of Satan’s evil end time representative, instructing those dwelling on the earth, to make or create an image of the religious and or political based beast who was wounded, but lived as if miraculously.
John used the word image, not statute, and not human, to describe what man was instructed to create to be worshipped by the masses of humanity during these end times. How will this image be viewed by the masses? Will this image be viewed and worshipped from one location or from many places around the world, in every nation, state, city, town, and or village? And if so, will it appear to be any different than methods being used today by American Mega churches self-destined to increase their rosters of financially supportive members rather than branch off into smaller religious entities as witnessed in the New Testament?
On January 26, 2014, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan was successful in transmitting a ten-foot hologram of himself at a political party meeting that he did not personally attend. According to the Hurriyat, a Turkish newspaper, the audience hooted and hollered while the image and likeness of Recep Tayyip Erdogan addressed the party participants. In 2012, Narendra Modi, an Indian politician, as part of a re-election promotional campaign, broadcasted twenty-six holograms of himself all across India. Yes, the technology is upon us and surrounding us for the creation of seemingly real life-like images to be displayed in more than one location at a time.
But according to Jesus, His coming will not be promoted by 21st century produced holograms or any ingeniously man-made created image. Jesus Christ’s coming will not be a secret event either. “For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.” And yet, Christ’s coming will be on the heels of earthly chaos, much Christian persecution and end time affliction. The death toll may be massive, according to Jesus; “For wherever the carcass is [accumulation of dead bodies], there the eagles [vulture-like birds of prey] will be gathered together.”
Something More To Consider:
Is Jesus Christ’s End Time Coming Certain
Do not believe any of the false and seemingly hidden or secret declarations of Christ’s coming or evil announcements of counterfeits of Christ being here, there, or everywhere. There simply will not be any truth in their evil and further deceptive claims. “For false christs and false prophets will arise.” Yes, the end time proliferation of these pretending and misleading religious appearing leaders will increase by unusual proportions and numbers. Worse than their shear appearances and false claims will be the misleading and captivating capacity over the masses of humanity that will be granted these false christs and false prophets.
These most likely highly televised and greatly publicized end time events promoting the worship of the image of the beast will be believed by the vast majority of the earth’s population. Many billions will be deceived and misled into pledging their allegiance to following after these deceivers who are merely religious pawn-like puppets in an end time alignment of Satan’s forces gathered from most nations military, financial, and political arsenals around the world. But the end time coming of Jesus Christ is certain!
But just as certain, will be the end time coming of Satan’s final stand-in evil representative and manager of earthly affairs, described as the lawless one in Paul’s writing in 2 Thessalonians. In chapter 2 of 2 Thessalonians verse 9, Paul speaks to the coming of this representative, by stating, “The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders.” And this message invokes the great end time falling away from the faith of Jesus Christ by many of the masses of humanity. Be prepared! We have been warned!
But the continued rejection of God’s Word and of God’s Son Jesus Christ, has set in motion the deception of individuals, families, churches, and even entire nations, of which America will not be excluded in the final spiritual synopsis barring a great end time revival-style awakening. Paul concludes his warnings to end time occupants of the earth by proclaiming in 2 Thessalonians 2.11-12, “And for this reason God will send them strong delusion [those perishing due to rejecting the truth], that they should believe the lie [Satan’s end time deception], that they all may be condemned who did not believe [present tense] the truth [God’s Word] but had pleasure [fleshly delight] in unrighteousness.”
A Few Final Words:
Are We Susceptible To God’s Strong Delusion
Will we as end time occupants of planet earth be susceptible to the sending of God’s promised strong delusion? Will we succumb to the fate of perishing due to our rejecting the truth of God’s Word and Christ’s warnings? If we believe the lie of Satan, the father of lies, and his evil false messages being delivered by the proliferation of end time false prophets, we will indeed open the flood gates to our being deceived by the storm clouds of strong delusion accumulating overhead.
It can all be boiled down to our willingness or unwillingness to presently believe the truth of the Word of God, especially Jesus’ warnings as they pertain to end time events exposed by Jesus in Matthew 24 and 25, and elsewhere in the Word of God. To believe the lie of Satan and his evil end time representatives, will eternally seal one’s fate and secure a reservation in that place which was created by God for Satan and his evil fallen one-time angelic entourage, who before their fall stood in the very presence of an Almighty God.
The choice should be extremely clear. We must partake in God’s divine and ordained escape plan of enduring unto the end or we will suffer the consequences of being deceived by our believing the coming strong delusion. We have been abundantly warned! What will be our decision?
Prayer: Our Father in heaven; keep us from worshipping the coming end time beast as warned of by Jesus. Deliver us from the strong delusion that will or already has swept away many unbelievers and so-called deceived believers. And help us to remain among the few faithful enduring to the end. In Him Always, Amen!
