An End Time Gathering
Scripture To Consider:
“Then two will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding at the mill: one shall be taken and the other left. Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into.”
“Therefore, you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour when you do not expect Him.” Matthew 24.40-44
A Few Words Of Warning:
Taken Or Left Behind According To Jesus
What if much of recent teachings of the coming of the Lord, the rapture, end time events, and the timing of these events are incorrect and unbiblical? Jesus declared, “Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left.” I cannot agree with those who teach that those taken away are taken to judgment, because Jesus also said, “Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming.”
Our Lord is not coming to take His faithful away to judgment, but He has promised to take His faithful away who are worthy to escape all these things that are coming upon a wicked and adulterous Christ rejecting generation. We are made worthy to escape in following the biblical example set by Jesus and left us in His preserved Word of God.
Commenting on these very words of Jesus, “Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left…”; John Wesley, 1703-1791, wrote, “One is taken into God’s immediate protection, and one is left to share the common calamities. The Lord speaks as having the whole transaction present before His eyes.”
And yet, man in all his human arrogance and pride, declares to differ with Jesus and differ with others from other centuries, simply because the timing of this end time biblical blessed hope, and or gathering of His elect, cannot be rightly explained to align with their false theories and false doctrines of a pre-tribulation rapture.
Therefore, do not be deceived by those who continue to preach a consoling only message for the purpose of receiving repeated financial donations leading to their increased and wealthier earthly existence. Do not be led astray with false promises disguised as doctrine, simply because the biblically revealed truth may not continue to fill the pews of their lavish and extremely comfortable church buildings.
True Christianity is much more than surface attraction! True biblical Christianity is much more than meets the eye of the bewildered beholder! True biblical Christianity, according to Jesus, Peter, Paul, James, and John, and others, is not always humanly accommodating, as professed from many pulpits of America today.
Something To Consider:
More End Time Warnings
According to Scripture, those who attempt to live godly in Christ Jesus, shall suffer persecution; not might, not maybe, but will suffer affliction in this life. Jesus suffered persecution and affliction as well as the entire early church and millions since. But when was the last time we heard this true gospel message preached from any user friendly, emerging, or submerging mega church pulpit? No, this biblical message is not what millions are willing to hear. This message does not fill the financial coffers of today’s glory seeking Laodicean-style so-called churches.
Therefore, let no patchwork quilt preacher or end time false prophet deceive you with a false interpretation or a scrambled version of end time events. Let us rather listen and heed Jesus’ sequential order of end time events, and of His end time gathering of His elect. Why else does Jesus warn those alive during these tumultuous times, by announcing loud and clear, “Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming.” This is not just an idle threat by Jesus in a dictatorial attempt to frighten some into taking His words serious. God forbid!
Something Else To Consider:
A Proper End Time Perspective Is Important
According to Jesus, at the coming of the Son of Man, “Then two will be in the field [working as usual]: one will be taken [to forever be with the Lord] and the other left [to experience the wrath of God]. Two women will be grinding at the mill [working as usual]: one will be taken [to forever be with the Lord] and the other left [to experience the wrath of God].” And yet religious leaders lacking the Holy Spirit’s guidance in their interpretation, continue to declare that the ones taken are taken to judgment.
How sad! And how grossly deceiving are the false messages promoted by the many false prophets Jesus warned us of in advance. For religious leaders of other persuasions to declare otherwise, would mean they would have to explain why God’s elect believing saints are still upon planet earth during the tribulation of those days.
For these religious so-called bible expositors to declare otherwise, would mean they would have to address why according to Jesus the elect saints are still upon planet earth during the so-called seven-year tribulation. And of course, from their perspective, from their extremely clouded point of view, it cannot be biblically explained away. Therefore, take heed, Jesus said! Do not be deceived by those who refuse or neglect the truth of Christ Jesus’ words.
Something More To Consider:
Will The Increase Of Sin Initiate The Coming Of Christ
And of the exact hour of Christ’s coming, no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, which would also include Satan and his hellish fallen angelic demons. But we can know the season of Christ’s soon and certain coming in power and great glory. As in the days of Noah, the world has become increasingly wicked. Evil is indeed being called good and good is being called evil just as in the days of Lot living in Sodom and Gomorrah.
As in those days of the judgment of Sodom and Gomorrah the sin of homosexuality as well as lesbianism has been legalized at least in the eyes of man in America, but never in the eyes of God. God’s Word is clear concerning sin. Sin is sin, whether it is lying, cheating, stealing, murder, homosexuality, lesbianism, adultery, fornication, envy, jealousy, greed, or hatred without a cause. Sin is sin! And make no mistake about it sin will be dealt with by God in His timing!
A Few Final Words:
The World Has Been Warned
As in the days of Noah and of Lot, the economic and political systems will continue business as usual for the most part, as if almost oblivious to the gathering storm clouds accumulating overhead. And in the midst of so much pervasive immorality and society approved hatred for Christ and bitter animosity toward the Word of God, even within the so-called church, Jesus’ coming is certain.
The world has been warned. The nation of Israel has been warned. The church has been warned. “Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming.” All humanity in every generation has been adequately warned. “Therefore, you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour when you do not expect Him.” Even in the midst of a world endorsing the increase of sin, Jesus is coming.
And yes, the world has been warned! With Christmas on the horizon, with variants of the covid-19 virus being declared as a coming world of trouble by false end time prophets such as wrongly so-called doctor Fauci and others on the payroll of the global elite, God is still in complete control.
But, when He, Jesus, comes, He will put an end to the evil manipulation and misinterpretation of His Scripture, disinformation, and discontentment of the masses. Jesus will right every wrong, preserve the much persecuted, defend the helpless, and rescue His elect from the four corners of the earth before the wrath of God is fervently poured out as if a flood upon an evil generation of hardened unbelievers.
My prayer is that each of us prayerfully considers the Scripture that has thus far been considered in this end time study, as well as what Scripture to consider follows.
Prayer: Our Father in heaven, help us to rightly discern the truth from the false flood of end time teaching and end time disinformation. And keep us more mindful of the things of God than the things of man in these last days. In Him Always, Amen!
