Mid-Week Message Of Importance

The I Am Teachings Of Jesus
Or
Learning From Jesus – Lesson 9

Scripture To Consider:
I [Jesus] am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord, Who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”         Revelation 1.8

Something To Consider:
Here in one single verse, Jesus declared eight I am teachings in Revelation 1.8. Jesus claims to be 1) the Alpha, 2) the Omega, 3) the Beginning, 4) the End, 5) who is, 6) who was, 7) and who is to come, 8) the Almighty. Therefore, Jesus greatly expands His short list of I am teachings that are found in the gospel of John or in Matthew.

But very few pastors, bible teachers, or bible teaching institutions ever adventure into the depths to be discovered in the book of Revelation. If they did, many of their false doctrines, man-endorsed unbiblical teachings, and untrue church traditions would be nullified by the Word of God.

But the book of Revelation is the only book of the bible that promises a blessing to those who read, who hear, and who keep or obey the things written within the sacred and holy pages of the book of the Revelation or the revealing of Jesus Christ.

Something Else To Consider:
Satan has blinded the eyes of so many so-called religious pretending wolves in sheep’s clothing, who like the evil birds of Jesus’ parable, hide insidiously within the branches of the kingdom of heaven on earth. But the spiritual wise still seek Jesus within the illuminating pages of the book of Revelation as well as in the entirety of Scripture.

The first verse of Revelation chapter 1, sets the revealing stage for the whole book. “The revelation [or unveiling] of Jesus Christ, which God gave to him [John the beloved disciple] to show His [Jesus’] servants [the true believing in Jesus’ children of God], things which must shortly take place. And He [God the Father] sent and signified it [the revelation of Jesus Christ] by His angel to His servant John, who bore witness to the Word of God, and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, to all things he [John] saw.”

John continued, by stating; “Blessed is he [or she] who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy and keep [or obey] those things which are written in it [the book of Revelation]; for the time [of the end of this age] is near.” Therefore, are we reading, listening to, and obeying the words of this prophecy? And if not, why not?

Something More To Consider:
What is Jesus saying when He states, “I am the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End, who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty”? Well, we are told in Genesis 1.1, “In the beginning God [the Alpha and Omega] created the heavens and the earth.” How long ago, we do not know, other than it was in the beginning.

We are emphatically told in John 1.1; “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same [the Word] was in the beginning with God. All things [the created heavens and the earth] were made by Him [the Word, God, the Almighty, Jesus]; and without Him [Jesus] nothing was made that was made.”

And how do we know the Word of God was indeed Jesus in the beginning? Because John, by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit revealed in verse 14 of John chapter 1; “And the Word [God] became flesh [in the person of Jesus], and dwelt [or lived] among us [the early disciples] and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.”

A Few Final Words:
For some, the concept of Jesus being God, the Almighty, is difficult at best. And whether our human and limited brains can fully understand the biblical concept of Jesus, the Word of God being God or not, does not alter the truth of the written and preserved biblical record.

Now, what if the until now preserved record of the Word of God is globally mandated to be removed from every home, church, hospital, doctor’s office, and world-wide data base? Will it reside in our hearts and minds forever? Have we assured that to be a fact of truth by our studying the Word of God in order to not be ashamed of the gospel truth? Do not be surprised of this taking place in the lawlessness abounding future of this evil and corrupt world!

And yet, Jesus, according to the Word of God, is the Alpha, the Omega, the beginning and the End. He is who is and who was and thank the Lord, He is who is to come immediately after the tribulation of these end times, to make a way of escape for true end time believers from the most deserving wrath and judgment of God upon those who refuse to believe and who reject Jesus, the Word of God!

In Closing:
In the final chapter of Revelation, Jesus declared, “Behold, I come quickly; blessed is he [or she] who keeps [or obeys] the teachings of the prophecy of this book.” Would we be considered blessed by Jesus? Are we keeping and obeying the teachings of Jesus? Are we prepared for eternity?

Or are we allowing the world’s demonically controlled elite and the vast evil corruption of the earth’s so-called religious and political leaders to deceive and to mislead us away from the teachings of Jesus and to depart from the truth of the living Word of God, Jesus? These are things that if not truthfully dealt with by us all, may be what destroys us in the end. What we believe right now, is most likely what we will believe in the end.

With that in mind, will we continue to allow the greed and the satanic voices of evil brainwash us any further? Will we realize that we have been given a free will and choice in our eternal estate? We have been created by God and will only be satisfied by our allegiance to God and our being delivered by Him from our bondage to Satan’s end time agenda. We do not have to be part of the enemy’s deep state efforts, world-wide shadow governments deception any longer.

Let’s Pray:
Our Father in heaven, prepare our hearts and minds for the coming of end time tribulation, and the coming of the Antichrist, the coming of persecution, affliction, and the betrayal of one time Christ believers. And at the same time grant to us a hungering and a thirsting for the coming righteousness of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. In Him Always, Amen!
