End Time Warnings To All Nations
Or
Enduring Unto The End
Sunday Oct. 23, 2022
Scripture To Consider:
“Now as Jesus sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, ‘Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?’”
“And Jesus answered and said to them: ‘Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, “I am the Christ,” and will deceive many. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.’”
“For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.”
“Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all nations, and then the end will come.” Matthew 24.3-14
Something To Consider:
The teaching found in Matthew 24 is in response to the three above end time questions asked of Jesus by His disciples. In verses 3-14 of Matthew 24, Jesus focused on end time events as it relates to all nations of the world. In verses 15-28 He spoke to the end times concerning the nation of Israel. And in verses 29-36 Jesus gave insight into more end time warnings to all nations.
In verses 37-44 it is believed by many that Jesus was revealing end time events relating to the true Christ centered end time Christian church. And finally, in verses 45-51 of Matthew 24 Jesus gave one final end time warning to all nations.
That which is proclaimed by Jesus in our Scripture to consider reported by Matthew, is also revealed in Mark chapter 13 and in Luke chapter 21. All three biblical scribes have explained in great detail these warnings of Jesus as they relate to end time events. I personally believe Matthew has recorded these end time events in the chronological order that was revealed by Jesus.
And if that is the case, where are we today, Oct. 23, 2022? We have for some time throughout the 20th century experienced world wars and rumors of wars. We are still experiencing nation rising up against nations and kingdoms against kingdoms. We are in the middle of an increase of famines all around the globe. Pestilence or biological mishaps have wrecked entire economies since the apparent deliberate 2019 release of covid-19. And earthquakes have been increasing in number and in intensity since 1970 in every nation of the world.
Something Else To Consider:
To all nations of all generations, Jesus warns them by saying, “Take heed that no one deceives you. For many [not some but many] will come in My name, saying, ‘I am Christ,’ and will deceive many [not some but many].” First and foremost, according to Jesus, we are to take heed that no one deceives us. These end times are to be a time of much political, religious, and demonic deception according to Jesus.
Now, there is only one correct and biblical way to look at this second extremely prophetical statement made by Jesus. “For many will come in My name [as if Christian], saying, ‘I [Jesus] am Christ,’ and will deceive many.” And that is exactly what is being played out in this 21st century generation by many so-called religious leaders. They claim that Jesus is the Christ, the Messiah, but then do not claim or proclaim what He commanded to observe and to teach.
According to Jesus, many, not a few, and not some, but many have come in the name of Jesus Christ, as if they represent Him and yet without their rightly representing the truth of His Word. And they, the many false prophets and lying false teachers of demonic doctrines and man-made traditions claim to be of Christ. Therefore, according to Jesus, “Take heed that no one deceives you.”
The end times according to Jesus, will be times of war, talk of wars, and actual famines. The end times will be a time of devastating pestilence, natural, viral, and or biological. They will also be marked with betrayal of family, friends, and associates. These last days will come with many physical earthquakes of increasing frequency and magnitude, as well as financial, economic, political, and religious earthquakes among all nations.
And yet, Jesus encouragingly reminds us, by stating, “See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.” For according to Jesus, “All these are the beginning of sorrows.” So, if your pastor, priest, pope, or pretending religious leader is not warning you concerning end time events, please check out these things Jesus warned us of in advance! And by the way, you may want to consider another more biblical source of end time instruction, hopefully a source that is more biblically based and not endorsed for financial reasons.
Something More To Consider:
Also, according to Jesus, lawlessness will abound in every nation while the love of God will grow cold. We are and have been seeing all of these warnings of Jesus coming to pass in the earth in our lifetime. Our cities are cesspools of uncontrolled violence due to the cowardly controlled liberal leaning leftist and beyond people who will run to worship and align themselves with the coming Antichrist. Take heed that you are not deceived!
But according to Jesus, “He [or she] who endures to the end shall be saved.” Noah Webster, in his 1828 dictionary, defines the word endure as follows: “To last, to continue, to abide, to bear with patience, and to bear without breaking or yielding.” Jesus spoke these same words in Matthew 10.22, as well as Mark 13.13, when He both warned and promised, “But he [or she] who endures to the end will be saved.” According to Jesus, enduring to the end is eternally important! How important to us is our enduring to the end? Think about it before answering!
A Few Final Words:
These end time warnings to all nations are to true end time believers in Jesus Christ. Who else would believe what Jesus has declared? The problem lies in that for more than a century these things have not been taught by religious leaders, and that is a deceitful shame! According to Jesus, “Then they [haters of God] will deliver you [true saints] up to tribulation and kill you, and you [faithful believer who have refused the mark of the beast and the lies of Satan and man] will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake.”
And furthermore, according to Jesus, “And the many [so-called Christians in name only] will be offended [due to the false teaching of a pre-tribulation rapture when they see the Antichrist assume world-wide power], will betray one another, and will hate one another. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many [not some but many].”
Therefore, according to Jesus, enduring to the end in order to be saved, is the gospel message of the kingdom! Yes, I know that is contrary to popular opinion. But in the end, we will not be judged by popular opinion, or by those who preach and teach a feel good, warm and fuzzy false doctrine. According to the Word of God we will be judged by an Almighty God and His written and preserved Word of God!
According to Jesus, “And this gospel [the gospel of enduring to the end of our lives or to the end of this age] this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world [by three angels according to Revelation chapter 14] as a witness to all nations, and then the end will come.”
Some religious circles place little or no value on believers enduring to the end. Some believe a onetime confession of Jesus Christ supersedes His three-time written command to endure unto the end. The early church endured! What will we be found doing in the end? For according to Jesus, “But he [or she] who endures to the end shall be saved.”
Prayer:
Our Father in heaven, may we grasp the eternal importance that You place on our enduring life’s difficulties even unto the end of the age or unto the end of our lives. May we in the end be found looking unto Jesus and His written Word of God. In Him Always, Amen!
