Lessons Of A Lifetime

End Time Warnings To The Church
Or
One Taken – Another Left
Sunday Nov. 13, 2022

Scripture To Consider:
“But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be, For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.”

“Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.” Matthew 24.37-44

Something To Consider:
The end times for the church will be as in the days of Noah as mentioned in an earlier lesson. It was business as usual! People were blindly going about their daily lives as if nothing of importance hung in the balance. The days of Noah were extremely evil, much like the days of today in many nations. But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.

And in finding the grace of God, Noah found a way of escape from the coming storm of God’s judgment and punishment upon the earth. Make no mistake about it; God gave warning after warning to the people of Noah’s day. Even now through this lesson of a lifetime, God is extending one more end time warning concerning the coming judgment.

Peter informed us in 2 Peter 2.5, that Noah was a preacher of righteousness, one of eight people God saved through the flood. Therefore, Noah, according to the Word of God, as a preacher, probably spoke of the pending judgment while building the ark. Every generation has had its preachers of righteousness, warning of the eternal danger of neglecting the righteousness offered by God in and through Jesus Christ.

Even today, the truth of Jesus is being preached and He is equally being neglected by the majority of human beings. More than being neglected, the enemy of all that is good and godly, has an agenda of removing the Word of God from the memory of this 21st century generation. That is another reason why we should study the Word of God to be approved unto God, thereby our becoming faithful doers and not hearers only of the Word of God.

Something Else To Consider:
Noah did not know when judgment was coming; just that God had warned him of the impending danger. Hebrews 11.7 explains, “By faith Noah, being warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.”

And so, it takes faith to believe the end time warnings of God. Many within the so-called church do not truly believe the end time warnings of God. Many show up regularly like clockwork to worship service after service, as if taking part in a corporate insurance escape plan, with no regard for enduring to the end or abiding in Christ. It is as if they are clueless! And that is for the most part, the result of so-called and mostly self-appointed preachers of this generation failing to perform the faithful duties of a true minister of God.

But once the Antichrist is revealed for who he is, and Christendom realizes there is no pre-tribulation rapture escape plan as foolishly proclaimed by the majority of so-called preachers, the time to prepare will be past. Think about it in advance. Once the mark of the beast is mandated, if you refuse to receive it, you will no longer be allowed to buy or to sell or to be involved in commercialism.

The Americanized pre-tribulation rapture theory, along with the once saved always saved false demonic doctrine have led billions upon billions of deceived so-called Christians to neglecting the biblical concept of enduring to the end. But Jesus proclaimed an enduring to the end gospel. Paul preached an enduring to the end gospel. Why then are so many deceived?

Enduring to the end takes faith! Enduring to the end takes patience, contentment, and an eternal perspective. Enduring unto the end has its eternal reward. For according to Jesus, “He [or she] who endures to the end shall be saved.” Now, I have shared that verse which was repeated three times by Jesus in the gospels with religious leaders, and the responses are very interesting each time. For what it’s worth, Jesus said it, three times, and I believe it! Therefore, I will preach it and teach it as the truth it is!

Something More To Consider:
Noah did not know the timing of the flood, but he knew the voice of the Lord. For one day, without any advance notice, a voice from inside the ark called to Noah, saying, “Come into the ark, you and your household.” One day in the near future without any further advance notice, the truly faithful will hear a voice like unto a trumpet, as John heard in Revelation 4.1 saying, “Come up here!” But this will not take place until immediately after the tribulation, according to Jesus.

Jesus did not give us a precise prophetic time table, but warned us that one will be taken and another left as in the days of Noah. Noah believed God’s Word and God’s warnings. And as God declared, judgment came! God’s judgment is indeed coming to America, if not already here.

America must reap what it has so boldly and foolishly sown. It has sown the death warrant of millions of unwanted unborn babies. America is now reaping the death sentence of a onetime united states. America’s political, religious, and educational systems have rejected the voice of the Lord through the written Word of God, and now God has rejected America.

A Few Final Words:
Samuel, the prophet, speaking to the people of Israel of whom God had rescued from the tyranny of Egypt, proclaimed on behalf of God in 1 Samuel 10.19; “But you have today rejected your God, who Himself saved you from all your adversities and your tribulations.” And God speaking through the prophet Hosea in Hosea 4.6 declared, “My people [so-called believers in God] are destroyed for lack of knowledge [biblical knowledge]. Because you have rejected knowledge [biblical knowledge], I also will reject you from being priest [an earthly representative of God] for Me; because you have forgotten the law [the Word of God], I also will forget your children.”

In other words, judgment is coming! Are we prepared for what lies ahead?  Are we in a place of hearing from the Lord? Or are we in a place of eternal danger and judgment? The end time warnings to the church are that one will be taken and another left. One will be taken to safety to be with the Lord, and the other will be left to face an eternal judgment.

As in the days of Noah, being taken safely through God’s judgment and wrath was due to one’s faith in God and His Word. At the future coming of Jesus Christ, being left will be due to one’s not having an enduring to the end faith in God and in His Word.

According to Jesus, “Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man [Jesus] is coming at an hour you do not expect.”

Prayer:
Our Father in heaven, prepare your true church for what lies ahead. If possible, wake up the so-called church and those calling themselves preachers, before it is too late. Make of us more than pew warmers and fill us with true biblical faith to believe Your enduring to the end Word, of whom is Jesus. In Him Always, Amen!
