Another Warning And A Promise
Or
Guided Into All Truth
March 12, 2023

Scripture To Consider:
“These things I have spoken to you, that you should not be made to stumble. They will put you out of the synagogues; yes, the time is coming that whoever kills you [you true believer] will think that he offers God service. And these things they will do to you because they have not known the Father nor Me. But these things I have told you, that when the time comes, you may remember that I told you of them. And these things I did not say to you at the beginning, because I was with you.”

“But now I go away to Him who sent Me, and none of you asks Me, ‘Where are You going?’ But because I have said these things to you, sorrow has filled your heart. Nevertheless, I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you.”

“And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: of sin, because they do not believe in Me; of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more; of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.”

“I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. However when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you. All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore I said that He will take of Mine and declare it to you.”   John 16.1-15

Something To Consider:
Jesus warned His disciples of the impending persecution they were going to face in the very near future for believing in Him. He warned them of their being cast out of the synagogues. He also warned them of the future plotting of their being killed by the same religious leaders who would be instrumental in His own arrest and death.

All of this was to come upon them because of their being willing to stand up for Jesus of Nazareth. All of the same treatment has already come to certain parts of the world and is at the doorstep of America as in other countries. Life as we have known it has changed and will continue to change! These warnings of Jesus are as much for the end time true believers as it was for the 1st century church believers.

Jesus warned His early disciples, by stating; “They will put you out of the synagogues.” Synagogues were and still are places of worship for the Jewish minded individuals in every generation. Many Jewish believers in Jesus down through the centuries have been refused entry into orthodoxic Jewish synagogues.

These warnings of Jesus are also applicable to Christian believers who will and who have been put out of Gentile places of worship we call churches. I personally have been put out of several church leadership positions which also led to my removal from those churches. I and others fully understand first-hand what Jesus was and is warning of. And yet, in every instance, we are never forsaken by the Lord and encouraged by His Word of warning in advance.

Something Else To Consider:
Along with the warnings of persecutions Jesus promised to send the Helper, the Holy Spirit into the world. The Holy Spirit in coming came and still comes to convict the world of their sin and of the righteousness that is now available in Jesus, as well as the judgment if that righteousness is rejected.

And all of these warnings remain valid to every generation because many have chosen not to believe in Jesus of Nazareth. And therefore, a spiritual animosity is created that leads to division and those in religious positions of power will always have the final earthly say this side of eternity, even if it grossly contradicts the Word of God!

And make no mistake about it, the Word of God is being cruelly contradicted in many religious circles around the world. Evil is being called good and good is being called evil. Anarchy is not simply prevalent in the streets of many major cities in America and around the world, but religious anarchy is at an all-time high. That which is deemed politically correct is taking precedence over the truth of the Word of God and many will reap the judgments of God for their rejection of that truth.

Something More To Consider:
And yet, to the believer in every generation since, Jesus declared; “However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth.” For it is the truth of God’s Word that is alive and powerful and sharper than any two-edge sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of the joint and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

The truth of the Word of God combined with the Spirit of truth brings conviction to the soul that is without the knowledge of Christ and His righteousness. Jesus knew that His warnings and promise of the Holy Spirit would encourage those who were desirous of being guided into all truth.

Are we being guided into the truth of the Word of God? Or are we being guided by the false traditions and evil doctrines of demons and promoted by men that create divisions when they are in opposition to the Word of God? And if so, are we opposed to them and are we taking part in exposing them for what they are, false? If so, be warned, it may lead you and your family to being put out of a so-called religious place of worship!

A Few Final Words:
For those open to the divine conviction of the Holy Spirit, that conviction will lead to our repentance and God’s forgiveness. For those who choose rather to rebel against the Holy Spirit’s conviction, they prefer division which simply removes or disregards the oppositional biblical perspective.

We have been warned in advance within the Word of God, which is ironic. For if a person rejects the Word of God, they also reject the warnings within the Word of God. Therefore, we have a choice to make. We are either guided by the Holy Spirit and the Word of God into all truth, or we are to vehemently reject and refuse that truth!

Our abiding in Jesus, who is the Word of God, gains for us as end time believers, abundant access to all of God’s truth by the gracious guiding of His Holy Spirit. And according to Jesus, “However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you [and me] into all truth.” Also, according to Jesus, “And the truth shall set you free!”

Prayer:
Our Father in heaven, guide us by Your Holy Spirit into the truth of Your Word, and surround us with the hope of Christ’s help in time of persecution. Thank You for Your in advance warnings of evil end time events in and through the warnings of Jesus, the Word of God. In Him Always, Amen!
